### How if I want to transact using Direct Debit but don't have Partner's account that works with NICEPAY? 

Customers must create an account first at the Partner's application you will be using. Because after proceeding the checkout process, the Customer will receives a push notification on the Partner's application to complete the transaction.

### Why can transactions using Direct Debit fail?

1. Connection time-out occurs.
2. Got primary error at Bank.
3. Inputting incorrect Cashtag*.*

### How does Merchant check transactions that have successfully been paid by Direct Debit?

Merchants can view transaction history within a certain period through the [Merchant Back Office](docId\:S2zo71iySoasepJteVVN7) at:

- [Transaction Data](docId\:ZrK8Rit_BQHVJTChyi31m) menu to check all transaction data, or
- [Fail Transaction](docId:80bLNXZ5uFOD5tu7Wd7Ea) menu to check failed transaction data.

### Is there a refund process at the Merchant Back Office for payments through Direct Debit?

NICEPAY [Merchant Back Office](docId\:S2zo71iySoasepJteVVN7) does not provide a refund process for payments with Direct Debit. Customers can do the refund process manually through the relevant Partner. Customers can carry out the refund process by contacting the Merchant or related Partners to carry out the refund process.

### Why Customer still does not receive refund?

NICEPAY refund services hour following the time services that have been specified by Partner ([Direct Debit Transaction Settlement](docId\:wlyN9Y1BL0PnhHtNiwHN1)). If the Customer still doesn't receive the refund after the terms of time decided, please contact the related Partner.

### Why can the refund process fail?

- Refund submission rejected by Partner.
- Refund submission doesn't appropriate with the Merchant/Partner's terms.

Settlement is the process of recording a transaction of transferring transaction funds from a Financial Institution (Bank or NICEPAY) to an individual or company that refers to as a Merchant.
