# About QRIS

**Quick Response Code Indonesia Standard** or known as QRIS is a digital payment service with the National QR code standard by merging various types of QR from diverse *Penyelenggara Jasa Sistem Pembayaran* (PJSP) that can use by Indonesian people in conducting daily transactions. The payment system launched by **Bank Indonesia and the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI)** on August 17, 2019, has become a new trend in cashless transactions after the COVID-19 pandemic ended.

To keep up with the development of payment technology that is increasingly sophisticated, fast, and dynamic, NICEPAY provides QRIS payment method services that can use through PJSP (Bank and Non-Bank) that have been registered with ASPI. Only by using one QR code, Customers gain the convenience of choosing various payment applications that will use to transact QRIS with the Merchant.

By activating the QRIS service on NICEPAY, the Merchant can receive cashless transaction payments through QRIS. The QR code will display on the application or Merchant's website that can be used directly by the Merchant to be paid by the Customer by scanning QRIS using the Bank/E-Wallet application. After the QRIS transaction is successful, the Customer will receive a real-time notification containing the transaction detail and keeps on the transaction history on the Bank/E-Wallet application used.
