What is the difference between paying using an E-Wallet and QRIS?
Payment with E-Wallet makes Users depend on the incoming notifications in the E-Wallet application to process payments. Payment with QRIS requires the User to scan the QR provided by the Merchant to make the payment process.
Does QRIS ShopeePay only accept payments through the Shopee application?
Even though NICEPAY uses QRIS ShopeePay, Merchants can accept payments from other QRIS Partners that support payments with QRIS.
Can Tourist pay using QRIS?
Tourist applications that have adopted EMVCo standards can use QRIS at all Merchants that already use QRIS.
Why can transactions using QRIS fails?
- Incorrect QR scan on the ShopeePay application.
- Orders don't match.
- The transaction has expired.
- The provider's signal is interrupted while making a transaction.
- The QR's background is black so it cannot be scanned.
How do Merchants check transactions that have been paid successfully with QRIS?

What is meant by Settlement?
Settlement is the process of recording a transaction & transferring transaction funds from a financial institution (Bank or NICEPAY) to an individual or company which in this case will be referred to as a Merchant.

How long does it take to carry out the QRIS Settlement process?
H+2 on workdays.
Does payment with QRIS have a refund process at the Merchant's Back Office?
Merchant Back Office NICEPAY doesn't provide a refund process for payments with QRIS. Currently, the refund process can only be done by using the API provided by NICEPAY for Merchants.
If there is a refund, Customers can proceed with the refund process by contacting the Merchant or the relevant Partner to carry out the refund process.
Why can the refund process fail?
- Refund submission rejects by the Partner.
- Refund submission doesn't appropriate with the Merchant's terms.
How do Merchants get shopId before continuing the test production process?
Merchants can confirm with the related MA or IT Integrator PIC.
How long is the QRIS payment deadline?
Default 5 minutes QRIS payment deadline.
Does API Checkout support QRIS?
For now, API Checkout doesn't support QRIS payments.
